What you will do:

The role is a combination of tactical and strategic, with focus across the following areas:

Content

  • Aid in the development and evolution of influencer partnerships; help with identification, vetting and management of social influencers.

Reporting

What you will bring:

  • 2-3 years of experience managing social media platforms or communities for a consumer brand through paid and organic tactics, preferably within an agency environment
  • 1-2 years of experience with community management
  • You must have experience of working in a gaming content capacity. If not direct experience, then extensive knowledge of the gaming or esports category. Your knowledge spans multiple games and you’re passionate about at least one of them. PC gaming knowledge a plus.

What you will do:

Content

  • Manages social content strategy for a global consumer electronics brand across existing and new social platforms.
  • Own the content creation process; you will not only craft brand stories from the highest level, but also translate that strategic direction into winning content.
  • Develop, ideate, and manage monthly content calendars – including light copywriting, content themes, and cadence. Work with design and copy team to see through to execution, providing feedback to ensure top quality of copy and content.
  • Oversee copy in conjunction with Creative team, with a bit of writing to keep you sharp.

Community Management

  • Manage live social coverage, both on-site at events as well as remote coverage (will require occasional work on weekends and outside normal business hours).

Campaign Management

  • Manage day-to-day activities and campaigns across social.
  • Lead the development and evolution of influencer partnerships.
  • Create and present proposals for new social campaign activations, both internally and to the client.

Paid Media

  • Oversee paid social campaigns on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other channels. Establish initial strategy, then work with Associate Marketing Manager to provide strategic oversight, guidance, and direction.

Strategy

  • Develop social strategy for your client by compiling social audits, competitive data and social platform information, and laddering-up the social program to the overarching communication goals. Lead strategic planning for content strategy, tone of voice, etc.
  • Work with head of social strategy to lead strategic client presentations, thought leadership decks, as well as tactical media recommendations.
  • Compile innovation updates to keep clients informed of best-in-class campaigns and platform updates.

Reporting

  • Own social reporting; know what KPIs to set and what success looks like. Provide quantitative and qualitative results and report such back to the client and internal teams.
  • Provide comprehensive weekly, monthly, and quarterly campaign reports.
  • Conduct regular monitoring of the client and their reputation in on and off line media as well as monitoring of competitor brands in on and off line media.

What you will bring:

  • 3-5 years of experience managing social media for a consumer brand through paid and organic tactics, preferably within an agency environment. Preference for experience managing a global brand, and experience with consumer electronics brands is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure project success within budget, timeline, and scope
  • Plan and track project expenses, billing, and invoices
  • Communicate expectations to clients and team members, and manage the process from kick-off, discovery, creative concept, production, execution, testing, and reporting
  • Provide meticulous documentation of project status, requirements, and performance
  • Create and oversee project schedule; ensure timely completion of tasks through all phases
  • Take lead on quality control issues and partner with team leads to mitigate project risks
  • General understanding of media platforms (e.g. social, programmatic buying, search)
  • High attention to detail and ability to problem solve quickly and confidently
  • Represent Rational Interaction values to clients and team members

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in an agency environment, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience managing marketing campaigns; currently a Senior Project Manager or equivalent title
  • Proven track record in a client-service environment including exposure to clients and ability to lead project teams
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft marketing initiatives and performance metrics
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to make decisions quickly in an ambiguous environment
  • Strong presentation skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate staff/project team, inspire teamwork and take a leadership role
  • Ability to solve complex problems with keen instincts and organizational experience
  • Must be able to simultaneously focus on the big picture, details and driving results

The opportunity:

This person will lead business development efforts and manage team member placements for projects within our Consulting Practice. This person must have extensive experience with consultative solutions sales and strong background navigating various tech client ecosystems.

What you’ll do: 

  • You will be creating and pioneering Rational’s next chapter with our Executive Leadership Team. You will be accountable for revenue growth, creating new revenue streams, and expediting vendor onboarding. Specific responsibilities of the Account Director role include:
  • Manage the full sales cycle including: prospecting and qualifying, developing and closing opportunities, effective resourcing, pricing negotiations, etc.
  • Develop customer relationships to gain strategic positioning with decision makers, retain existing revenue, and obtain additional business
  • Define contracts, manage Statement of Work development, and oversee budgets in alignment with target margin goals
  • Partner with recruitment to select and grow the best consultants for team and individual assignments
  • Make effective use of personnel and other resources to maximize the potential of Rational's Consulting Practice
  • Clarify responsibilities for team members, and provide an efficient organizational structure
  • Provide frequent reporting on existing placements, opportunity pipeline and sales forecasts

Who you are:

  • Experienced. You have sales and account management experience selling consulting services solutions
  • Relationship manager. You have a track-record of consistent success in end to end relationship management; business development, managing accounts, negotiations and closing sales
